Ksamil is the reason many people come to Albania: a cluster of sandy beaches and shallow turquoise lagoons facing a handful of tiny offshore islands, in water so clear it looks Photoshopped. But “Ksamil beach” is really several beaches, and knowing which is which — and which are quieter — makes the difference. Here’s every Ksamil beach for 2026, ranked, with prices and how to reach each.

Quick Answer

The Ksamil Islands beach is the star — sandy shallows facing three swim-to islets. For the same clear water with fewer crowds, go north to Pulëbardha and Mirror Beach. Arrive before 10am in July–August for a free-zone spot or a sunbed, or take a speedboat tour to reach the islands and hidden coves without the beach scramble.

The Best Ksamil Beaches

1. The Ksamil Islands & Main Beach

The postcard. A sandy central beach looks out on three small islands 100–300 metres offshore, with a shallow, calm lagoon between. Wade or swim across, or take a €2–3 boat taxi. Sunbeds run €10–20 a pair; free public zones exist but fill fast. The most beautiful — and busiest — beach on the coast.

2. Pulëbardha (Seagull) Beach

A gorgeous sandy-pebble cove about 2 km north of Ksamil toward Sarandë — clear water, a gentler crowd and a more relaxed feel than the main strip. One of the best family choices in the area.

3. Mirror Beach (Plazhi i Pasqyrave)

Between Sarandë and Ksamil, “Mirror Beach” is named for its still, reflective shallows — a small, scenic cove that’s quieter than Ksamil proper and a quick drive from Sarandë. Bring water and shade; facilities are limited.

4. Lori & Bora Bora Beach Clubs

Ksamil’s organised beach-club scene — sunbeds, cocktails, music and food service right on the sand. Pricier, but the easy option if you want everything handled for the day.

5. Manastir & the southern coves

South of the main beach, smaller coves near the Manastir (monastery) area offer clear water and a little more room, especially in the morning before day-trippers arrive from Sarandë.

6. Krorëz (the escape)

For an empty beach, Krorëz — reached by a rough track or by boat further south — rewards the effort with clear water and almost no development. Bring everything; there’s nothing there.

Getting to Ksamil’s Beaches

Ksamil is 14 km south of Sarandë — a €10–13 taxi or a €1.50 furgon, and the central beaches are walkable. For the northern coves (Pulëbardha, Mirror Beach) a car or taxi helps. In peak season, the road backs up midday, so the smartest way to reach the islands is often a speedboat straight from Sarandë port. Full options in our Sarandë → Ksamil transport guide.
