Stay Albanian Riviera ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
Stay Albanian Riviera is operated by Strandway Systems. Contact: hello@stayalbanianriviera.com.
2. What we collect
We only collect information after you accept cookies via our consent banner. If you accept, we collect:
- Google Analytics 4 data — anonymised IP, pages viewed, referrer, device type, browser, country and city (city-level only). Used to understand which content readers find useful.
- Affiliate click data — when you click a partner link (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Discover Cars, Travelpayouts partners, etc.), the partner sets their own cookies to track whether your visit results in a booking. We see only aggregate conversion data.
If you decline cookies, we collect nothing beyond your decline preference (stored locally in your browser).
3. What we don't collect
- We don't ask for or store names, email addresses or phone numbers unless you email us directly.
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties beyond the analytics and affiliate partners listed above.
- We don't run retargeting ads.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for analytics and affiliate tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer.
5. Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK or California, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you (we hold very little — see section 2)
- Request deletion of any data linked to you
- Withdraw consent at any time
- File a complaint with your national data protection authority

7. Third-party services

8. Data retention
Google Analytics retains data for 14 months by default; we do not extend this. Affiliate click data is retained by each partner according to their cookie window (typically 30–365 days).
9. Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change and refresh the "Last updated" date at the top.
